A FAKE HOLY MOTHER IN THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE SPOILER

Safe zone

On the way to the safe zone, they retrieved the bags that Song Ce hid. There was no Song Ce in the original story because in the previous life, Song Ce had handed over all his research results to the higher managements in LBD, however, the higher managements did not hand it over to the alliance to benefit mankind and silenced him instead. So, in this life, Song Ce hid from IBD. 

"Why don't they give it to the alliance? If they don't want to give it away for nothing, wouldn't it be good to sell it to the alliance to make money?" Bei Nuan was a little puzzled, "If they save the world with their vaccine, it should be good for LBD's reputation or something right?" Song Ce smiled.

"Bei Nuan, LBD is just an organization responsible for charity and non-profit scientific research. Its main purpose of existence is to avoid taxes. It belongs to a very well-capitalized international company called Tix. Tix spans many fields, you are familiar with many products, and they are in fact, the bosses behind them.”

"This virus outbreak is a disaster in our eyes, but it is an opportunity in the eyes of some people. After so many years of development, Tix has been a bit powerless. It is like an old car with a heavy burden. It is very necessary to find the right opportunity to start again, and make a comeback."

Bei Nuan was speechless, "But..."

Song Ce looked at her gently, "Do you know what the word 'capital' means? They have no conscience and only seek to maximize their interests. If they refuse to hand over things to the alliance, it must be because this choice is not in their best interest.”

Bei Nuan was angry, "The whole world has collapsed, so many people have turned into zombies, and they are still thinking about maximizing their own interests?"

Bei Nuan thought, of course it was for the sake of the Holy Mother task. It should be... for the sake of the Holy mother points, right?

 Bei Nuan is not as cold as she thought she was. Sometimes she is really happy to help and we have seen many times when she does something to help others and does not take credit for it in front of Lu Xingchi to increase her holy mother points.

Ye Ruocheng

The team heads to Ye Ruocheng, where the headquarters of the alliance is stationed. There, they plan to hand over Song Ce and his bags of research materials to the alliance. Bei Nuan’s holy mother points is almost full, and her final mission lies in Ye Ruocheng.

The team meets up with General Lu Ding, the current highest executive officer of the alliance, also Lu Xingchi’s elder brother. They have the same father but different mothers. This man can be trusted. Lu Xingchi and team trusted him, and even we readers can trust him, he won’t betray them. Song Ce also joins his mentor Qin Zhiyu in researching the vaccine.

The team settles down in a dormitory in Ye Ruocheng. This place is very stable, and people even had jobs there. It’s also like a place before the zombie apocalypse. The system, Xiao San/Little three, tells Bei Nuan that because things were different from the original book, when Lu Xingchi is done checking in, in the places he visited in the original plot, Bei Nuan’s task would be considered over, and she can return to her own world.

The last stop for Lu Xingchi is the city of Goltha. Bei Nuan has an idea. So long as Lu Xingchi does not go to the city of Geta, her mission would not be considered over and she can stay in this world with Lu Xingchi and the others forever. Lu Xingchi also has a mission to check in. However, Bei Nuan asks if it was possible for them to not go to Goltha City(各他城). The system deducts holy mother points, which were almost full, for implying the content of her mission to Lu Xingchi. The observant and discerning Lu Xingchi immediately connects the dot and agrees to Bei Nuan’s request and also adds, “It’s possible to never go to Goltha city.” 

Bei Nuan tears up from being too moved, Lu Xingchi really understands her mind without her having to say it. "We," he leaned down and kissed her eyes, "will never go."

If Lu Xingchi doesn’t check in cavalry city, his mission would be considered a failure, and his metal control ability would be taken away. However, Lu Xinchi decides to not complete it for Bei Nuan, knowing full well that his ability, which is only a few levels short to reach till he can fly, would be taken away. He only felt a little pity that he would not be able to fulfill his promise to take Bei Nuan flying. He really dotes on and loves Bei Nuan, where can I find someone like him? Help.

LBD’s Boss.

The team settles down in Ye Ruocheng. Bei Nuan meets Huo Ren’s boss, LBD's owner, Shang Yan. He want to cooperate with Bei Nuan because he knows that Bei Nuan is the heroine of this book. Yes, Shang Yan is a reborn person who knows that their world was a book. His ability is to deprive people off of their ability and give it to someone else. This is why Huo Ren obeyed him. He also has the task to report in front of Bei Nuan during her actual and final holy mother mission.

Shang Yan promises to give Bei Nuan wealth, power, and status as long as she stands on the same side as him, and to show his sincerity, he wants to give no.37 Garden Road mansion to Bei Nuan and invites her to tour the villa. Bei Nuan follows with Jiang Fei and Tang Tang to see what he was up to. Shang Yan confesses that he had know Bei Nuan’s existence for a long time, that he was waiting for her and claims that he had persuaded Huo Ren to not touch her. Shang Yan says,

"It's a book about rebirth or time travel. I was reborn once, and Huo Ren traveled from another world. However, whether we are reborn or time traveled, the purpose of our existence is to serve other people's plots...”

Shang Yan paused.

"Bei Nuan, in this book, you are exclusively favored by the god of the world, you can achieve your wishes, you are invincible, and anyone who doesn't open their eyes and trouble you will die, even Huo Ren, who can't be killed at all, will die. Died by your knife. Bei Nuan, if I'm not mistaken, you are the protagonist of this book."

Bei Nuan was speechless, but her focus was on something else. She thinks– Lu Xingchi is the protagonist, okay? She is really just a female partner.

Shang Yan also said that he knew that she was not Lu Xingchi’s fiancée, yet. He also implies ambiguously that she can live in this no.37 Garden Road mansion with whoever she likes while looking at Jiang Fei. He knows the original plot where Jiang Fei and Bei Nuan were couples. Everyone knows that Jiang Fei likes to act ambiguously when it comes to Bei Nuan. Lu Xingchi even calls him a green tea b*tch. 

Bei Nuan rejects Shang Yan, and Shang Yan leaves the key to the mansion to Bei Nuan, to let her think it over. Bei Nuan looks at the key and found it familiar. She remember that there was such a key in the box she had found in the bank safe from her father's belongings. Bei Nuan takes out the key, compares and find that the keys can open the mailboxes of the mansions in Garden Road. And her key says number one. Bei Nuan finds that she is the owner of no.1 Garden road mansion which was heavily envied by others. This was a present for her 18th birthday from her father(Bei Nuan and team is unaware of this fact as it will only be revealed after Bei Buan’s death). The mansion had everything, even the garage was filled with various cars. Bei Nuan finds a safe where she finds the deed of the mansion that was under her name, she also finds that she has become a major shareholder of an oil field and two refineries in the safe zone, which were of considerable benefits. 

Choice of the holy mother

Lu Xingchi and Du Ruo leaves to the blockade to clear high level zombies. While they were away, Shang Yan makes one of his subordinate to impersonate Lu Ding’s subordinate Fang Liming and fooled Bei Nuan into his territory, though, Bei Nuan had already known about it halfway. She was brought to the control room of u577- a high energy particle flow weapon that can melt an entire city with a single beam. This weapon was owned by the alliance; Shang Yan killed many people to get to the control room. He hides behind a bulletproof glass and refuses to get close to Bei Nuan. He asks Bei Nuan to launch u577 with two targets- one is Song Ce’s research base where the zombie vaccine was undergoing clinical test and would be released anytime soon, and the other is the city where Lu Xingchi and Du Ruo was on a mission. He tempts Bei Nuan to blow up Song Ce’s research base and he will keep the cctv footage as a blackmail material and Bei Nuan would have to stand on his side. Shang Yan was sure Bei Nuan would choose to protect Lu Xingchi. Because in the original book, Bei Nuan had already destroyed humans hope. There was a canyon outside the city of Golta, and there was an abandoned mining area inside. In the original book, the team happened to leave the city and enter the mining area. Bei Nuan was in a post by the canyon. The canyon was besieged by zombies and were about to break though golta city. In order to save golta city, Bei Nuan detonated explosives and blew up the canyon, killing the whole team for a city. It so happened that song ce had hidden research results in the canyon, which was conveniently blown up. So Shang Yan was sure Bei Nuan would choose to blow up the research lab. However, Bei Nuan chose the third option– To blow up the entire building with the explosives and time bomb she kept in her space when she saved the ancient tribe. Bei Nuan held Lu Xingchi’s metal button in her hand at the last moment, Bei Nuan thought: Mother Rabbit, Little Rabbit is really leaving this time. Bei nuan’s choice to kill herself before completing the mission means that she will die in her original world as well.

The ending

Bei Nuan find out about her father’s arrangements in the book for her. Her father is also working as a system, he wanted her to let go of her grudge, trauma and live a good life in the book. So her father used all the points he had spent on the system over the years to exchange for a chance for her to travel into the experimental world as a host. But she chose to die for others which was out of the system’s expectations. 

Because Lu Xingchi had watched the cctv footage of the u577 control room. Bei Nuan’s holy mother value had increased again to almost full. So she can exchange for things with the system, although she still cannot escape being hit by a truck. Bei Nuan chose to exchange her portable space, her current healthy body, and a transformation ability of 'whatever I want'.

In her real world, faced with the truck that was rolling towards her, Bei Nuan wanted to transform herself into a flat piece of soft glue which could not be flattened anymore, to save herself, but before she could use her ability, she was saved by Lu XIngchi, who had come to her world with Du Ruo, Jiang Fei, and Tang Tang. They were brought to Bei Nuan’s world by Jiang Fei, whose ability was to save people. Bei Nuan had long known that Jiang Fei was a transmigrator like herself so it was not surprising to her. Jiang Fei’s task was to accumulate green tea value(this is also why he would occasionally act ambiguously towards Bei Nuan). During the accumulation process, when the green tea value reaches one-third, two-thirds or full of the total progress, he can redeem three chances respectively to save people other than himself. So he used the first on Du Ruo, which is why Du Ruo did not mutate into a zombie. After that, he didn't do the mission seriously anymore, because as long as he didn't complete the green tea mission, he can stay in that world forever with them. However, after Bei Nuan’s death, he could see Bei Nuan’s name in the list of people he could save, and Lu Xingchi could still feel Bei Nuan’s presence, so Jiang Fei worked hard to accumulate green tea points with the help of Lu Xingchi.

They all took Bei Nuan back to the mission world, the book. After they left, the truck which Lu Xingchi and the others stopped, rolled over and crush the woman who was saved by Bei Nuan’s father years ago but was slandered in return.

Bei Nuan’s original world also became a mission world that was hit with a meteorite carrying zombie virus. And in the book world of Bei Nuan, because she returned to the book alive, her mission was considered to be successful. It’s a happy ending.

This is a very long spoiler/summary because it’s one of my favourite c-novels and also because I’m learning to write spoilers as short summaries and practicing my English. It won’t be so long in the future. It has everything I like, romance, comedy, beauty, depth, friendship, portable space, ability and many more. I love the friendship between the characters. Du Ruo is my favourite. He seems to always be carefree, but I think he is the most discerning in the group. I hate that I cannot describe him in a more comprehensive way… so just read the whole book everyone. Especially chapter 114-116, these chapters is the ending and cannot be missed.
